Denied entry into Canada……

Jamaican entertainer PopCaan was allegedly denied a Canadian work permit according to a promoter in that country.

Promoter Peter Jackson of 90 Nickel Events claims that Popcaan has been denied entry into Canada following issues relating to the entertainer’s work permit.

In a statement released on Facebook, the promoter is apologizing to fans who purchased tickets offering them a full refund for a show slated to take place at the Oshawa Music Hall on January 31.

The promoter further explains that PopCaan was expected to do 15 shows in Canada. The tour has been canceled until further notice.

Meanwhile efforts by Music News to get a comment from PopCaan or his rep were futile.

Chi Ching Ching and Kranium who were also a part of the tour received the necessary work permits.
